EARN & LEARN

Home EARN & LEARN

Students learn the real-world relevance of their academics, while gaining knowledge of potential career opportunities.

It is essential for students to understand the importance of what they are learning.  Earn & Learn does that by helping prepare students for entry into apprenticeship programs or other job opportunities.  The Earn & Learn Pre-Apprenticeship Program places each student in a trade skill, or other occupational area, where he applies the academics, especially his math skills.  Most students’ motivation to learn increases because they can see the real-world importance and usefulness of their academics. Even more, the student gains knowledge of potential future career opportunities such as an electrician, carpenter, in HVAC trades, and culinary arts.

This program spans up to six weeks and may or may not include a stipend.
