Anthony Lambert, a native of Washington D.C., has undergone considerable academic and trade skill training consisting of a combination of traditional classroom instruction and performance of hands-on tasks directly connected to his field of interest: Carpentry.
He graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School and attended The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America apprenticeship program where he became a journeyman Carpenter in 1990.
Anthony leveraged his journeyman skills and experience by working on numerous buildings and other places of outstanding historical or cultural importance in the DMV, such as the Grand Hyatt Hotel in downtown D.C., World Bank, D.C. Convention Center, Tyson’s 2 Shopping Center, and the Union Station Mall.
After working for the Carpenter’s union for several years, he started and continues to operate his own business, AML Carpentry, LLC, which specializes in residential and commercial construction; and is also the means by which a lot of volunteer work is done throughout the DMV area.
Anthony Lambert’s desire is to use his skill, experience and giving mindset to make an investment into the lives of the community of adolescent boys served by the GateWay Boarding Academy Foundation.
